Our Girls

Champion Spice Rack Anise.
There is nothing as sweet, gentle, precious and my beautiful first Champion “Anise”. She finished in 2008 and just became a Great Grand Mother on her 9th birthday on Thanksgiving when our Ch Spice Rack Ally’s Tea whelped her first litter on Thanksgiving day. What a special day that was for all of us. She occasionally makes an appearance in the veterans ring just to remind everyone she is my special first girl. She is the forever steady, sweet, simple lover always ready to come sit next to us whenever a quiet moment is needed.

Grand Champion Covington Devign Design
“RaeRae” finished her Championship in 2011 and Grand Champion in 2011 as well.  She is the first Cavalier bitch is Az to do so which qualified her for both Eukanuba in 2011 and 2012.  She is the proud momma of our Grand Champion Spice Rack Ally’s Tea and Champion Spice Rack Secret Agent Leonardo Di Scorpio and Grandma to Grand Champion Spice Rack Wunderbares Muskatnuss, Spice Rack Gabriel (a new mom) and their brother Grand Champion Spice Rack JS Back at Capricious.  She is a wonderfully balanced girl who keeps the order in the house.  She is now 7 1/2 and just passed all her health clearances again – yippee!! We simply love her to pieces and owe her so much. A huge thank you to Heidi Mohn for letting me have this precious girl.

Grand Champion Spice Rack Scarlet Rose
“Scarlet” is quite a character and full of herself. She has a special place in my heart and knows it. Easy going and unassuming… until she has an opinion and then she makes her desires loud and clear – usually involves being left behind. She is the momma to both Grand Champion Spice Rack Taffe and Taylor – both pointed and working on making her and their daddy proud (GCH Forestcreek Louisianna Lagniappe who was Best of Breed at Westminster in 2015). She is another home-breed GCH and is out of Covington Blossom and Rosscrea Tarrantino – a huge thank you to Heidi Mohn for sharing her dogs with me.

Grand Champion Spice Rack Taylor Taffeta.
“Taffe” has made Scarlet and me so proud. She took the show ring by storm, starting and finishing her Champion the summer of 2015 and then her Grand Champion in the Spring. She is every bit as loving and precious to me as her mom and spoiled rotten as well. These two girls have my number.

Grand Champion Spice Rack Ally’s Tea
“Ally” finished her Championship in 2012 and her Grand Champion in 2013 after whelping two litters.  That made her the first and only Bred-by Grand Champion in Arizona for Cavaliers. She now has her own litter of hopefuls and is a smart, wonderful, caring, healthy mom.  Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Grand Champion Spice Rack Wunderbares Muskatmuss
“Nutmeg” is co-owned by Bill Junk and Kelly. Bill has done an amazing job handling her to her Championship and Grand Championship. She finished 2015 as top Cavalier in AZ, #11 in Owner Handler nationally for Cavaliers and #21 for all Cavaliers – not bad considering she whelped her first litter on December 30! On top of that, she is an incredible therapy dog and volunteers at a retirement home every Thursday that she is not out showing or taking care of her babies. Look out in 2016 for her promising puppy – Spice Rack Nitchke who is with Bill. BTW – her name means “Wonderful Nutmeg” in German.

Spice Rack Gabriel
“Gabby” has a soul straight from her grandmother, RaeRae and just as sweet as her mom, Ally. She can melt into you and take all your worries away and is a wonderful mother to not only her babies but any in the house. It is wonderful to see a mom playing with her babies but extra sweet to see other one playing with babies that are not even their own. Although Gabby has won a few shows, she really prefers to see her sister (Nutmeg) kick butt at the shows while she gets lots of attention and take on the mothering duties.

Spice Rack Taylor Made and Taffe
What happens when you put GCH Spice Rack Scarlet Rose with BOB winner of 2015 Westminster GCH Forestcreek Louisianna Lagniappe? You get amazing babies!! Taylor was Reserve Bitch at the CKCSC of AZ under judge Norma Inglis as a 8 month old and already pointed prior to that. Taffe is just coming into her own and been winning over the summer – look for her this fall. We are confident these two sisters will make Scarlet and Louie proud. ***2016 News Flash*** Taffe is now a Grand Champion. Look for her on her own listing up above. Taylor is in Ca with my long time college friend and vet – Corrine Selders and family learning how to navigate horses… Future yet TBD!

Spice Rack Miss Me
“Mimi” is quite the character always looking for a new way to get more attention. She is a wonderful mom to any puppy in the house and shares puppies very well. She is one of the first to greet anyone who comes to visit as long as they are willing to pet her! We joke that her name is “MEME” (not Mimi) because she thinks everything is about “ME!!!”

Cashay Serenity
“Sara” came to us a little after her first birthday. A sweet beautiful tri girl out of Jayba’s Midnight Magic “Casper”, she is cute as can be and melding into the household nicely although sometimes forgets how to control her voice… She is the mom the adorable, sweet and wild hair youngster, Spice Rack Reggea who was Best Puppy at the 2016 CKCSC of Centeral AZ Specialty.

Champion Spice Rack Stella Hops.
Stella earned her Championship Title in 2011.  This one has LOTS of personality and likes to have fun! She is another of our home-bred Champions. She is retired and also living beach side in Southern California with a wonderful family including two boys to keep her entertained.

Spice Rack Desert Sage.
“Sage” made her debut in Palm Spring by taking a Group 1 Puppy in Palm Springs in 2010. Currently she is spends her nights keeping Cole company during the night and waiting for new visitors to rub her belly.  She would be an ideal therapy dog…if I just had to time!  As a RaeRae daughter, she loves showing, traveling and just about everything that involves being around us and the other dogs.

Spice Rack Hanna Hops
“Luna” is one of Anise’s babies who has opted to live the life of a California beach girl in Southern California. My sister, Nancy “stole” her from me when she was young and unfortunately for me she did not feel the urge to have babies. C’est la via! Currently she is the sidekick to my two nieces.  She is fast with the ball and quick to steal everyone’s heart.  The daughter of Ch Timsar Master Spellmaker (Marcus) and Granddaughter of the world famous English Timsar Mister Moonlighter (Jack) she is is beautifully put together (Thank you Reene Bruns for sharing Marcus with me).  Her mom is Anise showcased above.
