Our Dogs
CH Covington Devign Design. Oh what a pleasure this girl is. ”RaeRae” is the epitome of elegance and class. Her favorite spot is next to my head on the top of the couch where she can oversee all the ruckus the silly other dogs are partaking in. She is intuitive, quiet and without a doubt, the diciplinarian of the household. She does quite well in my purse going to restraunts but you will have to ask about that in person. Expect to see not only her current babies – Ally and Sage - in the show ring this year but her as well. Her first day out in the Specialty ring last week in Reno, took Major Grand Champion Points. She is so much fun to show!!
Ch Spice Rack Anise. She is the proud momma of a beautiful litter that can be viewed on our puppy page. Ironically, she completed her championship 3 years ago at the same show in California as Stella did this year. She is the forever steady, sweet, simple lover always ready to come sit next to us whenever a quiet moment is needed. There is nothing as sweet and gentle as this beautiful little girl.
CH Spice Rack Stella Hops. Stella likes to have fun! She is the first at the door to great the guest, get play time going and remind me if it is getting a little too late in the day and I have forgotten to feed everyone. This one has LOTS of personality. So far she has not been willing to give us any babies but we are still hopeful that she will eventually decide to enter the ranks of motherhood.
Ch Spice Rack It’s About Thyme also finished at the same show in California as his sister but last year. He is the biggest teddy bear you could ever imagine. No one can give a hug like him and all his beautiful flowing coat. He loved on all the babies and is the favorite Uncle to every puppy. Ty now lives with his adopted family in the Phoenix area completing their family getting all the attention any boy could dream of.
Ch Spice Rack Habenero at Cave Creek is one of Anise’s babies who lives with and is owned by Ken Smith in Cave Creek. His gentle and unflappable nature makes him a great leader of his “herd” of Ken’s boys since finishing in the show ring. He has now sired a beautiful baby girl, Ally, who already has her first major.
Spice Rack Ally’s Tea earned her first 4 point major the first day in the show ring on her 6 month old birthday – in the pouring rain none the less. What a tough little girl she is. She may be beautiful but she is always up for running with the crowd and playing with the big boys – or little babies as it usually is. Look for in the future as a rising star.
Spice Rack Desert Sage. This sweetheart made her debut in Palm Spring by taking a Group 1 Puppy in Palm Spring early this year. Currently she is spends her nights keeping Cole well-loved and entertaining the babies in the house while she grows up. Expect to see her in the show ring in due time. As a RaeRae daughter, she loves showing, traveling and just about everything that involves being around us and the other dogs.
Covington Blossom is a sweetheart who decided an orphaned litter of kittens were her responsibility. She coudled them and nursed them until they were ready to be weaned and now lives happily with them. Who says cats and dogs don’t get along! Although she proudly took care of the kittens, she has now become a momma to puppies as well. She is having to take a break from her agility and horsing around at the barn to take care of her little ones but I have no doubt she will return to her prior activities in due time.
Spice Rack Hanna Hops “Luna” is one of Anise’s babies who has opted to live the life of a California beach girl with my sister and her husband in Carlsbad. She is fast with the ball and quick to steal everyone’s heart. The daughter of Ch Timsar Master Spellmaker and Granddaughter of the world famous English and American Timsar Mister Moonlighter (Jack) she is is beautifully put together and we are anxious to see how to see she matures.
Spice Rack Juniper, daughter of Anise and sister to Hovie, has given us some wonderful babies. Although she loves being a mommy and is very good at it, she is now retired from the Maternity Ward. She spends her time now flirting with her “boyfriend” Cooper and taking care of Lee who adopted her. Her babies can be found though out the country doing agility, therapy work, showing in the conformation ring or lounging on couches and beds.
Spice Rack Butterscotch is such a handsome boy with a coat anyone would love to have. I am not sure yet if he owns Kathleen and his family or they own him but whichever it is, they are a very happy family. He is smart, resourcesful and if that doesn’t work he turns on the charm to accomplish his goals. Perhaps one day they will adopt me…..
Spice Rack Coriander now lives with her first born, ”Hercules” and his family in California. She is retired from her Mommy duties and living it up as a family dog with the biggest struggle of the day be deciding between her two (human) boy’s beds to sleep in at night. Oh, what a rough retirement….
